Community Dental Portland moved from its Brighton Avenue location to a new, state-of-the-art facility at 190 Park Avenue in October 2016, expanding from eight operatories to twelve, including a surgical suite.
The Portland Center partners with Maine Medical Center and Headstart to provide dental services and a dental home to adults and children identified as needing dental services. We provide care for patients living in local group homes and participate in the Cumberland County Denture Project. The United Way of Greater Portland allocates funds to provide limited reduced fee care to adults and children.
With a population of 64,000, Portland is Maine's business, financial, and retail center as well as its largest city. Seascapes and cityscapes blend harmoniously in Portland, perched on a peninsula, jutting out into island-studded Casco Bay. Portland is a lively city incorporating the character of yesteryear into a modern urban environment. Historic architecture blends gracefully with the new along Portland's working waterfront to the cobblestone streets of the restored Old Port section of the city.
Portland features spectacular dining and cultural opportunities as well as diverse recreational attractions and stunning natural beauty. Ranked nationally as one of the ten safest, culturally most fascinating US Cities and one of the top cities for doing business, housing is affordable and schools and healthcare are outstanding.
