Located in the Robert G. Dodge Business Park on Rt. 111 across from Southern Maine Medical Center, the Biddeford Center opened in December 2009 with eight dental operatories, replacing centers in Sanford and Saco and bringing new state-of-the-art facilities to the people of York County.
The Biddeford Center works closely with Southern Maine Medical Center to link patients to needed oral health services on a timely basis. We also partner with community school oral health programs, Headstart and the St. Louis Child Development Center to provide a dental home for students who need services.
Community Dental also partners with the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and Maine Medical Center in an Advanced Education General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program.

Dr. Katherine Paret, DMD
Dr. Katie Paret is a native of New England, and fell in love with Maine while earning her undergraduate degree at Bowdoin College. She spent a year working as a medical receptionist and volunteering with a domestic violence organization based in Portland, Maine. She then went on to become a dentist at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she was a student teaching assistant and won both a Merit Scholarship and the Excellence in Clinical Oral Pathology award. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Paret completed an advanced education in general dentistry while dedicating her care to the veterans at the VA Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina. She went on to practice dentistry at Konikoff Family Dentistry in Norfolk, VA. Dr. Paret joined the Community Dental team in July 2015, where she strives to provide positive patient-centered care and shares her passion for working to integrate oral health into her patients' medical care. She also values the opportunity to partner with Tufts to oversee residents. Outside of the office, Dr. Paret enjoys yoga, pottery, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends.
With a population of 22,000, Biddeford is Maine's sixth largest city. Located along the I-95 corridor, the City is conveniently situated 15 miles south of Portland and 90 miles north of Boston and is home to the University of New England.
In terms of natural features, Biddeford's 30 square mile area is as astoundingly beautiful as it is richly diverse. The downtown area is urban with numerous historic commercial buildings, churches, textile mills and homes. East of the city lies a magnificent coastline with stretches of sandy beaches and rocky promontories. Along the coast are such gems at historic Wood Island Lighthouse and the Rachel Carson U.S. Wildlife Preserve.
The Saco River, which has its origins in the New Hampshire Mountains meanders along a largely unspoiled Biddeford shorefront for a distance of 14 miles where it meets the sea.
Biddeford also includes the resort communities of Biddeford Pool, Fortunes Rocks, and Granite Point with numerous picturesque beaches and fishing villages.
