Located in the Robert G. Dodge Business Park on Rt. 111 across from Southern Maine Medical Center, the Biddeford Center opened in December 2009 with eight dental operatories, replacing centers in Sanford and Saco and bringing new state-of-the-art facilities to the people of York County.

Three fully licensed dentists staff the center with support staff including dental hygienists, dental assistants, and patient service representatives. Together the staff provides compassionate, quality oral health care services.

A full range of oral health care is provided at the Center, including restorations (tooth fillings), crowns, full and partial dentures, oral surgery, periodontics, endodontics, pedodontics and preventive care (teeth cleanings). Our patient population is diverse and includes all age groups, as well as special needs patients and people suffering from dental anxiety. Patients with dental emergencies can usually be treated within 24 hours.

We accept most private insurance plans and MaineCare, and a sliding fee scale is available for patients who meet the financial eligibility requirements. Care Credit is also provided to eligible patients as a payment option and we accept all major credit cards for payments.

The Biddeford Center works closely with Southern Maine Medical Center to link patients to needed oral health services on a timely basis. We also partner with community school oral health programs, Headstart and the St. Louis Child Development Center to provide a dental home for students who need services.

The Community
With a population of 22,000, Biddeford is Maine's sixth largest city. Located along the I-95 corridor, the City is conveniently situated 15 miles south of Portland and 90 miles north of Boston and is home to the University of New England.

In terms of natural features, Biddeford's 30 square mile area is as astoundingly beautiful as it is richly diverse. The downtown area is urban with numerous historic commercial buildings, churches, textile mills and homes. East of the city lies a magnificent coastline with stretches of sandy beaches and rocky promontories. Along the coast are such gems at historic Wood Island Lighthouse and the Rachel Carson U.S. Wildlife Preserve.

The Saco River, which has its origins in the New Hampshire Mountains meanders along a largely unspoiled Biddeford shorefront for a distance of 14 miles where it meets the sea.

Biddeford also includes the resort communities of Biddeford Pool, Fortunes Rocks, and Granite Point with numerous picturesque beaches and fishing villages.
